Background and Experience
Richard Morgenstern is a Managing Director and Private Wealth Advisor at Gerardi Wealth Management, where he brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to comprehensive financial planning. With a career grounded in service and integrity, Richard is dedicated to helping individuals and families define and pursue their long-term financial goals. He places great emphasis on understanding each client’s full financial picture—priorities, concerns, risk tolerance, and aspirations—so he can develop strategies designed to support their continued success.
Richard earned his Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo, followed by an MBA from Michigan State University. He later achieved the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) designation, a recognition requiring rigorous education, examination, experience, and adherence to high ethical standards. This background allows him to guide clients through key areas of financial planning including investment strategy, retirement planning, estate considerations, and tax-efficient approaches in coordination with their professional advisors.

Away from the Office
Originally from Albany, New York, Richard is married with two sons and four grandchildren. Family time is one of his greatest joys, and together they enjoy golfing, bike riding, traveling, and spending time with their dog. He and his family have explored many destinations around the world, with some of their most memorable experiences found in Israel, Egypt, and Morocco.
